    Off the Field Sports Marketing signs new Athletes, Launches TrackNation, client Justin Gatlin wins World Title

    July 8, 2011 – Lakeland, Florida – The sale of Crispers LLC, a Florida-based, fast casual restaurant chain has been finalized between Fresh Alternatives, LLC and Publix Super Markets. Crispers, founded in 1989, operate 36 locations throughout Florida, serving fresh salads, soups and sandwiches.

    “The sale of Crispers to Fresh Alternatives marks an exciting new chapter in the evolution of the Crispers brand,” stated Crispers CEO Ron Fuller. “It allows for us to streamline our efforts to solely focus on being your dining destination of choice.”

    Through this acquisition, Crispers parts ways with Publix Super Markets who purchased Crispers in 2007.  As a thank you to all those Publix employees that supported Crispers over the years, Crispers will be offering a 10% discount to all Publix employees who wish to dine at any Crispers location.

    In addition, Crispers announces “Friends Eat Free” Day on August 15th 2011 to emphasize the loyalty to the patrons who have supported the Crispers brand throughout the years.     November 2, 2011 – Crispers Restaurants, the fast-casual restaurant chain based in Lakeland, Florida, announces the introduction of a new dinner offering at its’ 11019 Causeway Blvd., Brandon, Florida location to include the world famous Bun Me Sandwich. The Bun Me (pronounced bahn-mi) is a Vietnamese sandwich on a brioche roll, filled with roasted pork tenderloin, daikon slaw mix, cucumbers, cilantro, and chili garlic mayonnaise. The Bun Me sandwich is described as a “flavor explosion” upon first bite and is widely popular throughout the world. Crispers is the first fast-casual restaurant in Florida to offer the Bun Me Sandwich on it’s new dinner menu.
