Crop Out What You Don’t Like… Photoshop Your Life

Those of you who are familiar with Photoshop will love this.

Since it’s release, Photoshop has revolutionized the way we look at photos and design as it’s capabilities far extend shaving a few pounds off celebrities. I use Photoshop to manipulate and touch up photos, and create designs and logos not possible in days of old. In short, Photoshop is a powerful editing software that has revolutionized the photography world, but what if it’s toolbar could be applied to real life? In the toolbar, there are commands and actions that would likely be equally useful in life as they are in the creative world. Then again, they say life imitates art; so while you may not know how to use the program, I’m sure you’ll be able to understand the basic functions of some of the tools it possesses and just how applicable they are to life:

Crop:

Use it to cut out the negative energy that surrounds the borders of your dream and goals.

Brush:

Use a brush to paint your life goals and dreams on your vision board.

Clone Stamp:

This tool is perfect for copying the habits and characteristics of mentors and those that you look up to.

Blur:

Use it for blurring out distractions and regaining focus on what truly counts.

Eraser:

Use an eraser tool to forget about mistakes. It’s the perfect antidote for moving on with a blank canvas.

While looking through the eyes of this program can teach you certain things, remember that it’s easy to learn from just about everything in life. You can learn from your triumphs as well as your defeats, and you can simply observing your surroundings. That said, open your minds, explore your surroundings, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes, because no one is perfect. Sometime imperfections make just as much sense as the perfect scenarios do – it’s all up to your mind. Remember, your mind will always be your most powerful tool!
